Calendars do more that record our events or give us reminders, they communicate. Calendars say when we are available or not, they save me the need to tell others when I cannot do something and they offer alternatives, all without me needing to sending individual notifications to everyone.
Properly making your calendar available is the second step in serving others with your calendar; the first step is keeping your own calendar up-to-date. If your calendar reflects your time commitments and plans well, sharing it is a helpful way to improve and grow your communication while keeping your actual time investment low.
